Red Tank Road brings together three distinct accommodation experiences, offering luxury and style. Perfectly placed on the Bright Rail Trail they can be booked together with your family and friends or separately for that relaxed getaway.
Eliza’s is intimate and full of character, suited to couples who value charm, soft detail and the ease of a slower stay. Eliza’s thoughtful design takes inspiration from Bright’s rich history and the intriguing story of Eliza Lynch. Providing a glimpse into the past and referencing the early settlers’ huts in some of the design features, while offering all the comforts you’d expect from luxury accommodation.
Ned’s is a timeless design featuring natural timbers and colours reminiscent of the Australian bush. Ned’s can sleep up to six guests and features a large front deck with sweeping valley views. The story of Ned’s is intertwined with Eliza’s and is a wonderful read.
Old Mill Park, a recently renovated 1970’s family home offers room for large gatherings, sleeping up to eighteen. It is a natural choice for retreats, reunions and summer holidays. The renovation cleverly kept all that was great about the 1970’s. You will be charmed by what it offers.
Sitting strikingly above Old Mill Park is the heritage listed red water tank and just below is the railway station (now a museum) that served the town for many years.
Within the surrounding alpine peaks, river valleys, and high plains of this region are the boundaries where the traditional lands of the Dhudhuroa, Taungurung, Waywurru, Gunaikurnai, and Jaithmathang peoples meet. We acknowledge these First Peoples as the original storytellers and Traditional Custodians of the Alpine Shire and pay our respects to Elders past, present, and emerging.
